Last week the trailer for the Kardashian/Jenner family’s brand-new show, aptly-called The Kardashians, was released and it promises to be an “all-access pass” to their lives – but just how much will they be sharing?
As their previous show, Keeping Up with The Kardashians got older, the number of family members willing to show their lives on camera decreased and the content of the show just wasn’t as raw as it used to be.
But is this new show a signal of change and viewers will get a more in-depth look at the multi-million-dollar family’s lives?
So just what audiences get to see? Have a look at the burning questions we have ahead of the family’s first adventure into the streaming world:
Will we get to see Kourtney and Travis Barker’s romance blossom?
Kourtney and Travis are one of the hottest couples in Hollywood right now and their relationship has gone from strength to strength over recent months.
They lived across the street from each for years and were great friends, but that friendship blossomed and became romantic, and they were seen everywhere together.
The two got engaged in October last year on a beach in Montecito, California surrounded by rose petals and white candles.
But were the cameras rolling when Travis popped the question? And has Kourtney allowed her relationship to be filmed? She was reluctant to carry on appearing in the family’s show when it was on E!...
Will we get to see the breakdown of Kim and Kanye’s marriage?
This isn’t a particularly happy subject, but it is dominating the headlines at the minute despite it being a year since Kim filed for divorce.
Although both have seemingly moved on with Kim dating Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson and Ye on a whirlwind romance with Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox, all is not well and it’s getting messy.
Kanye has been ranting on Instagram, posting pictures of text chains asking for Kim’s number, slagging off Davidson and pleading for his family to be put back together just hours after Fox was quoted on a podcast saying that he was her man now.
It’s also been claimed Kanye bought a house opposite Kim’s in Calabasas, California and followed her around the country over the Christmas period.
It’s such a big part of Kim’s life, but she doesn’t tend to share things of that ilk on the show, instead opting to share her journey to becoming a lawyer like her dad was with viewers.
Will we get to see Kim and Pete Davidson spending time together?
Like mentioned above, Kim doesn’t like to share aspects of her personal life on screen, so there’s a good chance she might keep her new relationship with Davidson private.
However, she’s become more relaxed over recent months after sharing content other than advertising plugs for her Skims line and jetting off to Mexico with her friends to enjoy some down time, so we could see glimpses of her new relationship.
Davidson, who Kim met when she was guest starring on Saturday Night Live, already revealed he has a candle in his house with his girlfriend on it, and no-one saw that coming, so maybe we need to expect the unexpected.
Will we get to see Kylie’s new baby?
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott recently welcomed their second child into the world as a sibling for their four-year-old daughter Stormi.
Their youngest child was born on a very unique and significant day – 2/2/22 – but she only shared the news of the birth to her 309 million followers on Instagram with a picture of mum and baby holding hands with a blue heart emoji caption.
Although the sex of the baby hasn’t been revealed, the blue heart could be a big indication that Stormi has a baby brother – but will we meet them on screen?
Kylie’s appearances on their old show were always few and far between as she got older and was notably absent from a lot of family events so it’s highly unlikely this will change massively for the new show.
What will we get to see of Scott Disick?
Even though Scott and Kourtney broke up seven years ago, Disick was a mainstay on Keeping Up with The Kardashians and even within the family ever since.
He regularly is seen with members of the family and is always seen supporting Khloe on social media, regularly commenting on her posts.
It has been confirmed that Scott will be on the new show, but what will we get to see?
His most recent ex-girlfriend, Amelia Hamlin, broke things off with him when Kourtney’s ex Younes Bendjima posted a screenshot of a message exchange with Scott who was slating Kourt’s relationship Travis – you still keeping track?
Will viewers get to see the fallout of this, or will it have been discreetly dealt with away from camera crews?
Will we get to see Rob?
When the first season of the family’s show on E! aired back in 2007, the only male sibling in the form of Rob Kardashian was a big part of the show but over recent years he has completely dropped off the radar, most notably while Khloe and Lamar were going through their divorce.
Rob used to live with Khloe and Lamar and apparently it was a very toxic place to live at times according to his sister; then his downward spiral started.
He fathered a child with Blac China with whom he had a very fractured and volatile relationship, and even a spinoff show, but things turned nasty quickly and she sued his family all while they were co-parenting Dream.
Understandably Rob wasn’t a fan of the attention as he felt vulnerable and open to people taking advantage of him, so he disappeared from screens, but is this new show the opportunity to put himself back out there and show people his hilarious personality again?
Will we get to see the fallout of Tristan’s cheating?
Poor Khloe has been through it all when it comes to relationships, and she never seems to catch a break.
Her marriage to Lamar, who she had only dated for 30 days before the two got hitched, came to a dramatic end when it was discovered he was cheating on her, but she stayed by his side when he was admitted to hospital in 2015 following a four-day bender in Las Vegas.
Just months before their divorce was finalised her relationship with NBA player Tristan Thompson was revealed and the two had a daughter called True together, and it was just before giving birth in Cleveland, Ohio when Khloe found out her baby daddy had been cheating on her.
After an on-off relationship, rumours started circulating that Thompson had fathered another baby with a personal trainer while him and Khloe were supposedly giving things another go following all the time they’d spent together in lockdown.
DNA tests proved the personal trainer’s baby was indeed Tristan’s, which he confirmed on Instagram, so will we get to see any of this play out in front of the cameras?
We’ll find out on March 14 when The Kardashians starts streaming on Disney+ and on Hulu in the US.
