Amanda Owen looks set to land a new deal with Channel 4.
The 48-year-old TV star is best known as The Yorkshire Shepherdess after she enjoyed success with Channel 5 reality show 'Our Yorkshire Farm' along with her husband Clive and their nine kids.
But since she and Clive went their separate ways last year after 22 years of marriage, Amanda is now thought to be heading over to the rival broadcaster to front a new, solo series following the success of six-part show 'Farming Lives'.
A source told The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column: "Channel 4 bosses very much saw the series as a test run of Amanda in a new setting and the response from audiences was good.
"So they want to push ahead and make more shows with her as soon as possible including a show which they are about to announce.
"It will still link to her origins on 'Our Yorkshire Farm', as it will tap into the region where she was born and spent most of her life. It very much marks the next stage of her evolution on TV and is a reflection of how she’s become a star in her own right."
Amanda is mother to Raven, 21, Reuben, 19, Miles, 16, Edith, 14, Violet, 12, Sidney, 11, Annas, nine, Clemmy, seven, and six-year-old Nancy with her estranged husband, who briefly fronted spin-off show 'Beyond the Yorkshire Farm' with their eldest son Reuben on Channel 5 earlier this year.
In a statement posted to Instagram, the couple said in 2022: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate
"This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
