Wretch 32 has joked that an email inviting him to star in 'EastEnders' must be lost in cyberspace.

The 'Blackout' hitmaker is desperate to land a cameo in the BBC One soap, and thinks show bosses have either got his email address wrong or the offer has gone into his Junk Mail folder by mistake.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the launch of Professor Green's latest Puma collection in east London, he quipped: "I think the 'EastEnders' email must have gone into my Junk Mail. I'll have to check they've got the right address, or it could be in my spam I guess!"

Wretch recently revealed he would love to appear on the show to help get Kat and Alfie Moon back together, but he doubts the pair - who are played by Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie - will ever be able to rekindle their romance on the programme.

He added: "I can't see them getting back together unfortunately. It's a shame but I think that ship has said sailed now. I think they need to let that one go."
