will.i.am has pulled out of appearing on 'The X Factor'.

The Black Eyed Peas star was set to join Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in the South of France for the upcoming judges houses stage of the ITV talent show to help her pick the final three female acts for the live shows, but he's now cancelled his appearance.

ITV bosses were said to be unhappy with the idea of Will - who is a mentor on rival BBC show 'The Voice' - appearing on 'The X Factor' but it's been reported he's dropped out because he couldn't fit it into his hectic schedule.

However, Cheryl has now called on Tinie Tempah - who featured on her comeback single 'Crazy Stupid Love' - to help her with the decision instead.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl was really hoping Will would join her but he just couldn't make his schedule work. Cheryl gave Tinie a call and he jumped at helping her out.

The 'Pass Out' hitmaker will film the judges houses stage with Cheryl today (02.09.14) at a villa overlooking the ocean in Nice.

The 31-year-old beauty travelled to France at the weekend to spend time with her new husband, French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
