will.i.am received a stern warning from 'The Voice' producers after swearing on the show.
The music star - who is one of the coaches on the BBC One singing competition along with Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue - accidentally said the word "s**t" during the live semi-final show on Saturday (14.06.13) and was taken aside by show bosses who are determined to keep the programme family friendly.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "All of the coaches were warned before the live shows to be careful with their language, as there would be young children watching. Up to this point they have all managed to keep a lid on it, but Will got carried away with the moment on Saturday and the word just slipped out.
"But the bosses have since taken him to one side and explained that it can't happen again. Will understands and has apologised, as he did on stage."
The slip-up came as the singer praised contestant Cleo Higgins after her performance, saying; "To have to go through the public and see things on iTunes -- that s**t -- that stuff is really hard to swallow."
Realising his mistaken, will quickly apologised while fellow coaches Jessie and Tom laughed nervously.
