Will Mellor claims he once declared his love of 'Top Gear' to Jeremy Clarkson - only for the TV presenter to ask if he was a footballer and "turn around".
The 'Two Pints of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps' actor is a big fan of the motoring show, so much so he forked out £60,000 on a Range Rover Sport after the car was featured on the programme, but he insists Jeremy wasn't too interested when they met.
Speaking to Ralf Little on their 'Two Pints with Will and Ralf' podcast, he said: "I met Clarkson once. He was a t*** to me.
"He didn't like me at all. He is pompous and he does say things that offend people.
"I said, 'Hiya, I just wanted to say I love 'Top Gear' and I saw the Range Rover on it and because of that show I got the car'.
"He went, 'What are you, a footballer?' And he turned around."
Ralf added: "Oh my God. He's totally custard-pied you."
Will, 44, admitted he "was in shock" after the humiliating moment, and he could have reacted more strongly rather than taking the high road.
He said: "I just walked away. Really, I just should have caved every f****** rib he had in him.
"I was in shock. I still looked up to him. I'm not rude to anyone like that."
Will recently claimed his and Ralf's former 'Two Pints' co-star Sheridan Smith has been ignoring his calls for four years now, and she even ignored an invitation to his 40th birthday party.
He revealed: "I haven't spoken to Sheridan for four years - I have tried to message and call her but nothing. I had a 40th birthday party that she was invited to but we haven't spoken. There has not been a row, no fall-out … I honestly couldn't tell you why.
"She is doing very well, her career is smashing it and she has a kid now, she has other responsibilities. We were very, very close at one point and you just drift apart - but I wish her well."
