Will Mellor has been reliving the pain of his dad's passing.
The 'Coronation Street' star lost his dad 12 months ago and he's revealed that recent family tragedies have caused the emotions to "come flooding back".
Will explained: "It was a year on April 15 that me dad passed away - it was the year anniversary, so I knew that was gonna be tough. But I lost my uncle just before Christmas and we spoke about it, me uncle Barry ... and then, this year has just been ... this year, my auntie and uncle, my auntie Pat and me uncle George, I found out me uncle George was diagnosed with brain cancer - the same as my dad had.
"He was given weeks to live, which was devastating, and his son George, we were like brothers growing up. We spent so much time together at his house, at my house, he came on holiday with me ... and I've got four sisters, he had three sisters, so very similar. So, anyway, his dad got diagnosed with cancer - my uncle George - and he was given weeks to live. And then his mum collapsed - my auntie Pat - with the same brain cancer and she was given weeks to live as well."
Will, 45, admitted that the situation caused him to relive the pain of his dad's death.
He said on the 'Two Pints with Will & Ralf' podcast: "It was just unbelievable - I felt everything come back to me. Everything what happened with me dad, the emotions came flooding back.
"I just couldn't ... I knew what my cousin was going through but I couldn't ... to be given the news that not only are you going to be losing your dad but your mum as well was just unbelievably horrendous for him and it brought a lot back."
