White Dee has joined the cast of 'Benidorm'.

The 'Benefit Street' star - whose real name is Deirdre Kelly - is set to make a cameo in the next series of ITV's popular comedy show - alongside Sherrie Hewson, Tim Healy and Jake Canuso - when it returns to screens next year.

The 44-year-old's manager, Barry Tomes, told the Daily Star newspaper: "I always thought she would be brilliant in the series. I can imagine her sharing benefit tips by the pool while rubbing in the baby oil. It would be TV gold. It's a show that she has wanted to be on more than anything."

And the former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant is no stranger to causing mayhem on the Balearic Island as she was almost banned from Magaluf when she hosted two raunchy pool parties in 2014.

Barry explained: "Dee kicked up a storm in Magaluf. They mayor wanted her banned. Now she wants to move upmarket and appear in 'Benidorm'."

Meanwhile, Dee has always wanted to wreak havoc in the Solana hotel in Costa Blanca and get under the skin of hotel owner Joyce Temple Savage (Sherrie Hewson).

During the last series, she took to her Twitter account and tweeted: "It's time for a bit of sun #Benidorm on catch-up - oh, how I wish I was by that pool (sic)."

Meanwhile, the ninth series of the popular comedy has been given the go-ahead and the cast will jet out to the sunny island in four weeks' time to shoot the next installment.
