Trevor Peacock has died aged 89.

The 'Vicar of Dibley' actor, who was best known for portraying Jim Trott in the BBC comedy series, passed away on Monday (08.03.21) from a dementia-related illness.
A statement on behalf of his family read: "Trevor Peacock, actor, writer and song-writer, died aged 89 on the morning of March 8th from a dementia-related illness."
Dibley Parish Council member Jim was known for his comical catchphrase "no, no, no, no, no ... yes" in the sitcom, which starred Dawn French as the titular vicar Geraldine Granger.
Trevor's passing comes after the death of his fellow 'Vicar of Dibley' co-stars Roger Lloyd Pack, who died in 2014 aged 69; Emma Chambers, who passed away in February 2018 aged 53; and Liz Smith, who was 95 when she died in 2016.
The actor starred in several other TV shows, such as 'Hotel Babylon', 'Jonathan Creek', 'My Family', 'The Thin Blue Line', and he also delved into soaps, appearing in 'EastEnders'.
In the BBC One show, he appeared as war veteran Sid, who met Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) in France.
What's more, Trevor starred in numerous BBC Shakespeare series productions, including portraying the titular role in 'Titus Andronicus', and he was Feste in 'Twelfth Night'.
On the big screen, Trevor acted alongside Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti in 2007 movie 'Fred Claus', appearing as the father of Father Christmas, and he portrayed George in comedy-drama motion picture 'Quartet', which featured Dame Maggie Smith, Sir Tom Courtenay and Sir Michael Gambon.
