BBC One are launching a new Saturday night show hosted by puppets.
'That Puppet Game Show' will debut in the late summer and see celebrities including Vernon Kay, Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman and Jonathan Ross take part in a celebrity quiz alongside a comical foam cast by 'The Muppets' creators The Jim Henson Company.
The star contestants will be set a challenge by each puppet, each round revolving around a certain topic, and the celebrity who emerges victorious wins a donation of up to £10,000 for their chosen charity.
Taking on the role of host is strong-chinned puppet Dougie Colon - which is pronounced Cologne - and the outspoken dummy has already dubbed himself "the new face of Saturday night TV".
Speaking in a statement, Dougie said: "I can't wait to get stuck into the new show. We have a whole host of celebs joining us and I can honestly say that they will never have seen anything like this before!"
The outspoken puppet will be joined by a host of other characters, including Mancie O'Neil, top scientist Dr. Strabismus and executive producer Udders McGhee the bull.
Other famous names set to be involved include Katherine Jenkins, Gary Lineker and Freddie Flintoff.
It is hoped the quirky idea will be as successful as the original 'The Muppets' TV show, which featured the likes of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and The Great Gonzo during its run on ITV from 1976 to 1981.
