Simon Lennon has teased that there are challenges ahead for Ben Tucker and Aaron Dingle's relationship.

Although Simon's 'Emmerdale' alter-ego has strong feelings for Aaron (Danny Miller), he believes that Ben's family troubles - including dealing with an alcoholic father - could lead to issues in their romance.
He told Metro.co.uk: "Ben has a huge amount of love for Aaron. It’s still the early stages for them. They’re still learning about each other.
"The more time they spend together, the closer they become. They care a lot for one another and have each other’s backs. And I think that’s a beautiful thing.
"Relationships aren’t easy. Especially when there is past trauma involved. But they’re strong as a couple and I think they deserve to be happy.
"As Ben’s hidden home life comes to the forefront, his relationships in the village will be tested. We’ll learn more about Ben as an individual and what is really happening behind his resilient facade."
Simon also revealed that Ben is also wary of affecting Aaron's relationship with his half-sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) - who is also an alcoholic - as they have been arguing about him recently.
He added: "The last thing Ben wants is to drive a wedge between Aaron and Liv. In trying to help, his goal has always been to bring them closer and help bridge any gulfs that have emerged between them.
"His intentions are good, just sometimes things don’t always work out how you plan them to."
