Nanny Pat with Dreamboys wannabe
The Only Way is Essex' stars Nanny Pat, Debbie Bright and Carol Wright are amongst the judges looking for a new Dreamboys star.
The reality TV stars were joined by TV personality Lizzie Cundy to audition hopefuls at the Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday (18.1.14)
Debbie Bright said: "I'm looking for someone who has the whole package, 'package' being the operative word."
Keen to join the UK's most famous male stripping troupe, auditionees were put through their paces to perform a 30 second routine taught by The Dreamboys' choreographer, as well as their own freestyle routine. One hopeful from Milton Keynes even enticed 72-year-old Nanny Pat into eating crisps off his chest.
Following the auditions she said: "I don't know how I'm to sleep tonight."
The judges - who also put contestants through a gruelling interview on why they wanted to join The Dreamboys - clearly enjoyed their day and reminisced over Twitter later that evening.
Debbie Bright tweeted Carol Wright after the event: "We should have demanded chairs like there's #thevoiceuk I could have superglued u to it and left u there!! #DIVA (sic)"
Carol replied: "@debbietowie just because we been judges today it don't mean that your at the level of Kylie yet I know I am already but u pipe down my mate (sic)"
The winner of The Dreamboys competition will be announced shortly.
