Tony Clay feels "a bit of pressure" when people ask when he is going to propose to his girlfriend.
The 'EastEnders' star's character Callum Highway and his boyfriend Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) got engaged last week after they both popped the question to each other, and while a number of Tony's pals are getting married away from Walford, he is in no rush to get down on one knee in front of his girlfriend Olivia Griffin.
He said: "You get to a stage where your mates start getting married and having children, and there can sometimes be a bit of pressure with people asking that question.
"But for me and Liv, we're in no hurry, and we're quite lucky that our friends and family are quite chilled out and relaxed about it - especially at the moment when you can't have any guests, and have to wear masks all day.
"So yep, no rush, but one day - definitely."
Tony is also hoping social distancing restrictions will be lifted on the 'EastEnders' set in time to film Ben and Callum's nuptials, so they can have a big bash.
He said: "Hopefully Ben and Callum can have their day when things are a bit more normal in real life, and we can go big with it - fingers crossed."
When asked if he and Max would be up for forming a bubble prior to shooting the wedding scenes, if restrictions haven't changed, he added to Inside Soap magazine: "If the world is a better place by then, there is definitely a conversation to be had.
"We'll have to see what the situation is at the time, and Max and I will have to see where we're both at, and go from there."
