Tommy Cannon fought back tears at Bobby Ball's funeral on Tuesday (17.11.20).
The 82-year-old comic - who starred alongside Ball in 'The Cannon and Ball Show' - was among the mourners at Hope Church in Lytham, Lancashire.
The mourners were seen wearing red braces in tribute to the late TV star, who made the style a trademark of his comedy career.
Ball passed away in late October at the age of 76, just weeks after a positive coronavirus test.
And following Ball's death, his long-time comedy partner took to Twitter to pay tribute to his good friend.
He said: "I'm absolutely devastated, I've lost my partner, my best friend and the funniest man I know."
Prior to Ball's cremation, mourners participated in a procession through the streets of Blackpool, and the words "Rock on, Tommy" were printed on the pavement.
Tony Callison, who used to drink with Ball in a local bar called The Sunday Club and was among the mourners lining the streets, told MailOnline: "You had a good laugh when he was in because you couldn't not.
"He was a true gent and a funny man but he was also very helpful. I had a hard time last year where I needed help and Bobby was there for me as if he was a friend. He still had an awful lot to give, it wasn't his time."
The funeral was an invite-only event due to the coronavirus lockdown in England.
Memorial cards left outside the service read: "Things Bob loved ... his family, friends, being creative, making people happy, entertaining, music and a chilled glass of Chardonnay! He will be truly missed by all who knew him."
