Tom O'Connor would love to see his popular game show 'Name That Tune' on screens again.

The 78-year-old comedian-and-actor hosted the music quiz from 1976 until 1988, and of all of the shows he hosted the ITV programme is one he'd like to see return and he's up for getting involved in bringing it back.
Tom - who is also best known for his past gigs hosting game shows 'Crosswits', 'Pick Pockets' and 'The Zodiac Game' - told the Daily Mirror newspaper "'Name That Tune' should come back. It's such a strong show. Anyone could play. I'd love to host it, I'd happily come in as an assistant."
'Name That Tune' sees two contestants answer a series of questions about music in front of a studio audience.
The funnyman admits he may have changed up the rules on 'Name That Tune' and allowed contestants with almost the right song titles to win the point.
He laughed: "The rest of the time I made it up myself."
Tom - who kick-started his career in television by appearing on 'The Comedians' in the 70s - listed 'Name That Tune' and crossword puzzle-solving 'Crosswits' as his "favourite" programmes.
He said: "I did seven different game shows and my favourites were 'Name That Tune' and 'Crosswits'."
'Name That Tune' was later presented by Lionel Blair from 1983 to 1988 and Jools Holland took over for a year in 1997, when the show aired on Channel 5.
In 2014, it was reported that a revival of the musical programme was commissioned, with ITV plotting a pilot using the classic format.
Strictly Come Dancing's Glenn Coomber was said to be in talks to produce the reboot, however nothing came to light.
The format for the show was first launched in America in 1952 on the radio before moving to the small screen. It was first aired across the Atlantic on Granada Television in 1956.
