Tom Hiddleston is "very curious" to see how his character Jonathan Pine will return in the upcoming second series of 'The Night Manager.'
The 37-year-old actor said he is eager to see what happens to his character now that the second season of the hit BBC thriller is in early production - although he teased that he was keeping very tight-lipped about the project.
Appearing on 'The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show' on BBC Radio 2 on Friday (18.01.19), he said: "At the moment it is really in the lap of John Le Carre and his sons who run the Ink factory which is the production company that produces it. They are potentially conceiving how these characters might live on, what they're doing now given the state of the world.
"What's Jonathan Pine doing? Where is he? He's probably in a dark corner somewhere, spying on someone and what shape and form might that may take. I'm very curious to see what materialises and that's about as much as I can say."
Hiddleston appeared alongside Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman and Elizabeth Debicki in the first season which aired in 2016.
The Hollywood star is also reprising his role as villain Loki from the 'Thor' and 'Avengers' movies for a new TV series focused on the God of Mischief which is to premiere on new Disney streaming service Disney+ and he can't wait to get started on the exciting project.
He said: "We're currently kind of in the process of polishing up what it will be and the ideas and the story and the pitch. But it is definitely happening. Disney are launching a streaming service called Disney+ and I'm not sure when exactly that will be live.
"It's really exciting to do this series about 'Loki' and I can't say much, we've all gotta get through 'Avengers: Endgame' first."
