Tina Malone with partner Paul ChaseAs news of Tina Malone's birth hit the internet today (she gave birth to a baby girl which she's named Flame), TLC have announced that they'll be airing 'Tina Malone: Pregnant at 50' in the New Year.
The one-off show special will follow Tina and explore the issues surrounding being pregnant at a more mature time of life, as well as the IVF process and social, physical and emotional issues around these.
"Losing 11 stone and going from a size 28 to 8 was incredible, as was being an award-nominated actress in the theatre and in television, but even these don't come close to having a child, and seeing that baby for the first time. Nothing can beat this feeling." said Tina about becoming a mother for the second time.
The documentary will see Tina meet other women who are going through the same process as her, including a woman who had twins at 54.
Confronting those who have criticised her, she also goes straight to the government on a Houses of Parliament visit for a meeting with Nadine Dories MP, and a discussion about IVF age limits.
'Tina Malone: Pregnant at 50' will premiere in February on TLC UK.
