Tim Vine is to host a new comedy sports quiz.
The 51-year-old presenter will front 'Football Genius' for ITV following a successful pilot episode, with 'The Chase' expert Paul Sinha and hockey player Sam Quek - who are both big fans of Liverpool Football Club - on board as team captains.
Show producers, Hat Trick, said: "'Football Genius' will see two teams of football loving fans compete against each other across a virtual pitch, proving what they do and do not know about the beautiful game in the hope of taking home the trophy!"
Former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant Sam is thrilled to be on the show and is already feeling competitive.
She tweeted: "VERY EXCITED that @ITV has commissioned "Football Genius" & EVEN MORE EXCITED to be a Team Captain!
"I'm gonna kick @paulsinha 's butt every episode!
"It will be a great laugh working with @RealTimVine & @HatTrickProd too! #GoodTimes #AreYouAFootballGenius
#SamWins(sic)"
Paul replied: "Not sure that I disagree with any of this.(sic)"
The programme will replace 'Play To The Whistle', ITV's old sports-based competition show, which ended last year after just three seasons.
Five episodes of 'Football Genius' will be recorded at Sky Studios in early August, with ITV planning to broadcast the show later in the summer.
Sutton Utd fan Tim is passionate about football and is also using his interest for a good cause, as he's teamed up with Prostate Cancer UK to launch the Football March for Men, a fundraising initiative that takes place on July 22 and offers four 26 mile routes to Wembley Stadium.
Upon completing the trek, those involved will be presented with a medal by 1966 World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst.
Speaking about the campaign, Tim said recently: "I'm very pleased to be launching this march for Prostate Cancer UK from @suttonunited. Prostate Cancer affects far too many men, and I give my support wholeheartedly to this campaign."
