Tim Healy says 'EastEnders' left him feeling "depressed" while eating a lamb chop.
The 'Benidorm' actor praised some of the BBC One soap's stars for "good acting" as he watched the programme on Tuesday (27.08.19), but admitted, ultimately, the soap left him feeling low as he was tucking into his mouth-watering meaty treat.
He wrote on Twitter: "Just watched Eastenders after many years some good acting but I never laughed once and felt depressed while eating my lamb chop xx (sic)"
The 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' star's ex-wife Denise Welch previously starred in 'EastEnders' as Alison Slater.
But she is best known for her role as Natalie Horrocks in ITV soap 'Coronation Street' - and the 'Loose Women' panellist admitted last year she would consider a return for a "great storyline".
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "When you leave the job you leave it. I would never say never about going back but they've never asked me back and I've never asked to go back.
"Because I've been very fortunate and I've worked since I left, and I left through my own choice.
"But if there was a great storyline or something, of course. But I quite like my life as it is, and I'm doing this show ['Calendar Girls'] for nine months, I'm doing 'Loose Women', I've got a novel coming out.
"It's not like there is any room for anything in the foreseeable future."
Natalie fled to the Cotswolds to start a new life on New Year's Eve 2000 after selling the Rovers Return pub, and Denise was surprised to find out her alter-ego had a cousin living in the idyllic location.
Denise added: "She didn't die and now she's with her cousin in the Cotswolds who she never mentioned during the four years she was there."
