Sharon Osbourne has revealed that her family are returning to the small screen for an eight-episode run of The Osbournes.
The star admitted she and husband Ozzy Osbourne had given the go ahead to re-launch the series, because he cannot remember what happened during the initial four series - airing from March 2002 to March 2005 - because he was drunk during the whole thing.
Making the announcement during a slot on Loose Women, she said: "Ozzy has decided that he wants to do another few episodes, not a whole season, about eight episodes, of 'The Osbournes'.
"He said that for the whole three years that we did it he was drunk the whole time. But he would like to do one where he's completely sober, as he is now."
She revealed also that the show is going to focus mainly on her and her husband, but will also feature Jack and Kelly Osbourne on a regular basis.
"[The kids] will come in and out.
"Hopefully [we'll start filming] in January but as I say it's not forever, no more than eight episodes.
"Because it's been 13 years and our lives have changed so much than it's a kind of catch-up, like, 'What are they doing now?' "
The Osbournes became MTV's most-viewed series ever after its first season.
