The Honeyz at Blind Date launch

The Honeyz are backing All Saints and S Club 7 for the next series of 'The Big Reunion'.

The 'End of the Line' girl band - Celena Cherry, Heavenli Abdi and Mariama Goodman - appeared on the hit ITV2 reality show, which followed their trials and tribulations in the pop industry in the early 2000s, and they would love to see the 'Never Ever' and 'Bring It All Back' hitmakers on the second series.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the launch of new theatre show 'Blind Date' at London's Charing Cross Theatre last night (04.06.13), Mariama said: "The era, from when we were around, it was kind of All Saints, S Club and Damage. I think they'd all be pretty good to watch."

However, the girl group admit producers on the show have kept the current cast - which also includes Blue, Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, 911 and 5ive - in the dark about the new crop of stars because they all have "big mouths".

Mariama added: "It's all still like, they're talking about things and we're all being kept in the dark, I think, so we don't give any secrets away. They haven't told us who's definitely in it and who's not."

Despite revisiting the band's painful past - including various line-up changes - the singers have no regrets about appearing on the show and feels it was a positive experience.

Mariama said: "We signed up for it and the producers will tell you what it's going to be like, but you never really know how it's going to turn out till you watch it back. We were really pleasantly surprised with how in depth and open and honest everybody was."

Celena added: "Everyone was being honest and everything that was said was true. I think that's the beauty of the whole programme. Everyone wore their hearts on their sleeves. That's why it's been a success."

The critically acclaimed 'Blind Date' is playing at the Charing Cross Theatre until July 11. Tickets are available at www.charingcrosstheatre.co.uk.
