Tamzin Outhwaite thought her romance with Tom Child was a "fling".The former 'EastEnders' actress has opened up about her relationship with the cameraman - who is 21 years younger than her - after they first met three years ago.She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "It was meant to just be a fling. Then it went from being a fling to, 'I don't want to be away from you'."For one of the first time in my life I'm living in the moment and not worrying about what's going to happen, which is lovely."I think the age gap forces is to do that a bit more, because there's nothing we desperately need from each other."The 49-year-old actress - who has daughters Florence, 12, and eight-year-old Marnie - explained how Tom understands that her kids are her priority.She added: "I've been married before and I've got my children, who come first, and he knows that."He's not desperate for children right now, so we're both having a lovely time."We're all striving for some kind of perfection in the future, but actually, whatever we have here and now is, a lot of the time, all we need."Tamzin recently returned to work after six months at home amid the coronavirus pandemic, and while she "worries" her children now have a "false sense of security" because she has been in a lot more than usual, she is grateful to Tom for helping her out.She wrote on Instagram: "This kind , funny, patient, talented, loving ,dynamic & hot man makes my daily juggle so much more doable and so much more fun."As I left the house for work at 6am, I then got a call from my 8 yr old crying & asking where I was. @tc_childie gave her cuddles, made her breakfast & lunch for school, all ready for @ginger_appreciator to take over the school run."I worry that the last 6 months of me being at home with my girls has given them a false sense of security, that I will always be home now. I need to work.
