Tamera Foster became the latest X Factor elimination last night.
The 17-year-old singer lost out to Luke Friend from the boys category in a shock sing-off.
Tamera performed Christina Aguilera's hit 'The Voice Within' against Luke, who sang Snow Patrol's 'Run' but the judges still couldn't agree on which act to send home.
Nicole Scherzinger opted to save her act Tamera, while Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, who mentors Luke, opted to save his, leaving Gary Barlow to bring the decision to a Deadlock to let the public vote determine the final result.
Upon hearing the decision, Tamera, who originally entered the competition with her friend Jerrie Dila but was instructed to continue as a solo artist, thanked everyone for the opportunity and said she couldn't have asked for a better experience.
She added: "I've had most amazing time."
Nicole praised the teenager and predicted she will be the "most successful star" to ever come out of the series.
It was previously reported that 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell was set on offering Tamera a record deal even though she forgot her lyrics on a number of occasions.
An insider recently said: "Tamera is undoubtedly his favourite. He thinks she has got it all and is seriously considering giving her a recording contract."
Luke Friend, Sam Bailey, Rough Copy and Nicholas McDonald will now compete in next week's semi-final.
