Suzi Perry has hinted she will join Chris Evans on the revamped 'Top Gear'.
The Formula 1 presenter revealed she actually turned down the job over a decade ago when BBC Two first brought the show back and revealed there have been "conversations" about her joining the new line-up.
When asked by Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden on 'This Morning' if she thought she was being considered for the job, she said: "I believe so. It's down to Chris Evans and it's down to BBC Two. You know what it's like when you work for a channel, you have conversations. Until, as a broadcaster, you know what's going to happen with the show, you can't really think very seriously about it."
However, she added: "I'm away 20 weeks a year doing Formula 1. Unless someone has invented 48 hours in a day ... It would be pretty tough I think for me to do it."
Presenter Jeremy Clarkson was fired from the motoring show in March after punching a producer and his co-stars Richard Hammond and James May decided not to continue on the programme without their friend.
Radio DJ Chris has taken over the top spot from Jeremy and previously claimed Richard Bacon - who previously hosted 'Blue Peter' - is in the running to join his new look presenting team.
Referring to Richard dropping him off at work last month (18.06.15), Chris said: "People were so focused (on me) they didn't see the gentleman who gave me a lift to work."
