With the Supergirl/The Flash crossover right around the corner, CBS are ramping up their hype game and have this week released a short 10 second snippet, teasing a race between the two superheroes.
Who wins the race hasn't yet been determined, but some storyline details surrounding the crossover episode have been revealed.
The synopsis for the episode, titled 'World's Finest', reads: "Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home."
Starring as Supergirl, Melissa Benoist said of the upcoming episode: "It is the most joyous occasion to have these two superheroes together in the same place, at the same time, working together. They are both so happy with their powers and what they get to do and how they get to help people, that it's kind of infectious and exciting and upbeat and happy."
Mehcad Brooks, who plays James Olsen in Supergirl notes that his character and Barry may not be the best of friends: "We have this little rivalry, because he's a superhero, too, and kind of hitting on my girl a little bit. I'm like, 'Damn you, Barry'."
Supergirl continues on CBS, with 'World's Finest' airing on Monday, March 28.
