Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice needed a break after she had a "total meltdown" during 'Strictly Come Dancing' rehearsals.
The 43-year-old TV presenter admitted her pro partner had to put her "in her place" as they were training for the BBC Latin and ballroom competition, and he used his own tattoo to make his point.
Speaking on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain', Ranvir - who was co-hosting the show with Giovanni appearing via video link - said: "We had a quiet moment where we just needed time to ourselves for 20 minutes.
"I'm going have to be honest, I had a total meltdown. Giovanni put me in my place and just said, 'Look, it says never give up'.
"It says 'never give up' on his arm. He was like, 'That's who I am'. I was like, 'OK.' "
Ranvir revealed the pair have already "had a few moments" just days into their rehearsals together, but they have since made up after their disagreement.
She added: "We've had a few moments, haven't we Giovanni? We got over our moments though.
"We had a 20 minute divorce, did Giovanni and I. We had 20 minutes apart and then it's been plain sailing ever since."
Pro dancer Giovanni was very understand of his celebrity partner, as he acknowledged how tough it can be coming into such a high pressure environment.
He said: "You've never done anything like this before, so coming in the training room and listening to somebody for hours repeating what you have to do - obviously that's uncomfortable.
"Unfortunately that's my job, to tell you what to do."
In order to keep to current government guidelines, the 'Strictly' professional dancers and their celebrity partners are living alone and are creating "bubbles" so they are able to dance with one another.
Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are keeping to social distance rules as are the judges - Craig Revel-Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse.
