Sara Davies isn't sure she'll be able to cope with the ballroom routines on 'Strictly Come Dancing' because hasn't danced properly since she was a child.
The 'Dragon's Den' star is competing on the new series of the BBC One show but her dance experience for years has been limited to hitting the floor after a few drinks, so the specific chorography scares her.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz and other media ahead of the show's launch, Sara, 37, said: "My mum and dad are so excited. I’m really nervous because so far the producers keep asking me if I can dance. Truth be told – I haven’t got a clue! I’ve not danced since I did ballet lessons when I was little."
Sara is used to judging the wannabe entrepreneurs on 'Dragon's Den' but she believes she will be able to deal with the criticism that comes her way from the 'Strictly' judging panel - comprised of Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse.
She said: "It’s funny because in my everyday business life I’m either the investor in the business or it’s my business, so I’m used to having people around me where I’m giving them the feedback. Just like in the Den.
"One of the reasons I got to the top of my game in business is relentless drive, looking for feedback and trying to improve every time.
“Every time I do something I want to do better, so from that side of it I’ll really like it.
“I’ve tried to watch a lot of the last series over again and put myself in the shoes of the contestant when they’re getting that feedback."
