'EastEnders' star Stevie Basaula hopes his character eventually finds a love interest.
The actor - who plays Isaac Baptiste on the BBC soap - has revealed he wants his character to find love and happiness, saying he'd be interested to see "what his relationships are like with women".
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Stevie shared: "I think it would be interesting to see what his relationships are like with women. Because of the relationship he has with his mum - it will be interesting to see how that will affect any romantic relationships he may have.
"It would be exciting to have a love interest. Will there be one? I don't know. I would say Louisa Lytton (Ruby), or we saw him on the boat attempt to make a move on Whitney.
"It didn't go well for him but to be fair she did have other things on her mind, so would be interesting to see if anything could come from that situation."
Stevie also thinks his on-screen character has evolved during his time on the soap.
The actor believes Isaac has recently displayed a "more sensitive and much more caring" side to his personality.
He said: "I think we've already started to see a different side to him when he's in the school.
"He's more sensitive and much more caring than we've seen him before and I think he really can be a good teacher because he's probably able to understand them a lot better than other people because of his own childhood and the struggles that he faced at school. So I think that makes him a really good teacher."
