Steven Gerrard's daughter has launched her acting career on 'Coronation Street'.
The football star managed to land Lilly-Ella, nine, a dream role on the ITV soap as a non-speaking extra after she begged the Liverpool midfielder to get her a part in the programme following a trip to the show's studios along with her mother Alex Gerrard and seven-year-old sister Lexie.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "After the trip she told Steve and Alex that she wanted to star on the show one day.
"They are great parents and started making enquiries to see if there was any way to get her on as an extra. As Lilly is a minor they had to get it all officially sorted out through their local authority.
"Then they spoke to 'Corrie' and managed to get her a part in Tuesday's filming. It's only a little, non-speaking role but the whole Gerrard family are unbelievably excited. It should be on screen in around six weeks."
Alex - who married the England captain in June 2007 - took to Twitter to wish the couple's daughter luck ahead of filming.
She wrote on her Twitter account: "Good look to my little girl Lilly at coronation street today hope it goes well!! (sic)"
