It didn't take long for fans to start speculating about how Laurel Lance could make her way back into the world of Arrow following her death earlier this season, but now lead star Stephen Amell who plays the titular role of the Green Arrow, AKA Oliver Queen, has revealed that Katie Cassidy will not be making a return at any point.

Asked on Larry King Now about the future and if she'll come back from the dead, his reply was simple: "No. Simply no."
He did however reveal that he did know the last words Laurel spoke before her passing, but didn't want to spoil it for the fans, as series creator Greg Berlanti wants to surprise viewers in the future.
Despite leaving Arrow, Katie Cassidy will be popping up on companion series The Flash as Black Siren.
We've seen doppelgangers of characters we've already been introduced to before on The Flash, and it seems here we'll meet Donna Nance, a character previously seen in animated series Justice League, based on the Golden Age Laurel Lance of DC Comics.
Amell's full interview on Larry King Now will debut on Friday, May 27, following the Arrow season 4 finale in the US on The CW on May 25.
