Stephanie Affleck has been fired from ‘The Apprentice’ in semi-finals double elimination.
The 28-year-old entrepreneur, who owns an online designer children's wear store, failed to impress Lord Sugar in the boardroom who wasn’t keen on her business idea.
In tonight’s episode (17.03.22), the remaining final four females in the semi-finals, - which marked a first in show's history - saw Stephanie ripped to shreds in the gruelling interview process.
After reaching the second to last stage, and passing the scrutiny of Claudine Collins, Claude Littner, Linda Plant and Mike Soutar, the ultimate decision lay with Lord Sugar. But after close consideration the 74-year-old business mogul turned to Stephanie and said: “The preloved market, is not a market that’s loved by me.”
Reflecting on her experience of finishing third and being in an all women final four, Stephanie told BANG Showbiz and other media outlets: “I feel so so proud that I’ve come on this series, not only as the final four but it’s a final four all women. To have made history in a programme is absolutely unbelievable to me.
“What you see on there is genuine. I think that day and age of cat fights and women fighting against each other is a bit dead now.
“We all were trying to support each other and even now we all support each other’s businesses and want to bring each other up.
“You see even in the boardroom when Lord Sugar asks ‘is your business better than theirs?’ I’m here to give you the best version of myself, I’m not here to tear others down in order to bring myself up.
“That’s how we are with each other, we’ve all got fantastic businesses, we’ve all got something to offer, something different, so I don’t need to trip you over in order for me to be a success.”
According to Stephanie, if she was ever called to conduct the interviews herself she would definitely be a Linda.
She added: “I think my resting b**** face throughout the series has shown that I would be absolutely savage."
Stephanie said: “I maybe would be a Linda Plant"
“I am a lot like Lord Sugar, I am incredibly blunt, straight to the point, so I would be more of a Linda character than a Claudine.”
