Spencer Matthews thinks it's a "massive loss" that Vogue Williams has been forced to pull out of 'The Jump'.
The 'Made in Chelsea' hunk - who was rumoured to be romancing the DJ - is devastated that 31-year-old model has been replaced in the winter sports competition because she has suffered a serious knee injury.
Speaking to new! magazine, he said: "I think it's a massive loss to the show. She was really lusting after being the first girl to win the competition and I think there's every chance she would have. Plus she's going to be on crutches for a while, which is annoying for her, so thoughts out to Vogue. She's a huge character and great fun and good at everything. It's a shame to lose any member of the team. Vogue and I were best friends and we spent all our time together, so now she's not here, it feels weird."
The pair first sparked rumours they were dating earlier this month when it was reported that they'd shared a passionate smooch while on the slopes and, although he won't disclose whether there is anything going on between him and Vogue, the 28-year-old heartthrob is open to the idea of falling in love on the show.
He explained: "If love were to fall into my lap, then I would be all over it. I think any human being would always welcome love. But I don't think that's why I came here. Vogue's a lovely girl, she's a very good friend and I think we'll be friends forever."
But it looks like Vogue may have some stiff competition as it's also believed Spencer has been getting close to Olympic gold medal-winning star Jade Jones since the blonde beauty quit the series a few weeks ago.
A source said recently: To say things were awkward is a massive understatement. Vogue wasn't happy when she found he got together with Jade. It's the talk of the training camp and has created a bit of an atmosphere. Spencer is taking things to another level. It's more akin to an 18-30s holiday than a TV competition."
