Spencer Matthews claims he was nearly the victim of a sexual assault.
The 25-year-old reality TV star has revealed he was drugged by an older man while partying on the Caribbean island of St. Bart's and nearly kidnapped when he was 18.
Opening up about the terrifying ordeal in new autobiography, 'Confessions of a Chelsea Boy' - which is being serialised in Now magazine - he wrote: "I noticed a strange figure whose gaze seemed fixed on me. He was a skinny, much older man with bleached white hair, gold earrings and a sleeveless denim jacket. As my vodka went down, I started to feel unusually light-headed. I saw that the man's cold gaze turned into a suggestive smile. It was then that I suspected he might have spiked my drink."
The 'Made in Chelsea' star - who is dating former 'The Hills' beauty Stephanie Pratt - explained that his would-be attacker lured him into a nearby car, but he managed to escape when the effects of the drug began to wear off.
He explained: "The noise of the car engine brought me round and I tried to move my fingers and toes, which I could, sort of. I tried to open and close my mouth and to my relief, I could.
"Sensing this would be my only chance to get out of this vile person's clasp, I began to make as much noise as possible, hoping desperately that someone would notice. Thankfully, the struggle attracted one passerby's attention, who alerted my good friend Herve. When I saw him, I don't believe I've ever been so happy. The relief was so great, I passed out immediately."
