Spencer Matthews is addicted to "being in love".
The 'Made in Chelsea' star - who has openly admitted to cheating on his last two girlfriends, Louise Thompson and Lucy Watson - has hit back at claims he is heartless and says he enjoys being in love.
He said: "I really enjoy being in love. I think I'm addicted to that. If anything, I want the best of both worlds and that doesn't exist without hurting people. Let me tell you I do have a heart and I do have a conscience.
"I'm just a young guy living the dream. I don't think I have a sex addiction. I could live without sex. I think. Well it would be interesting to try it."
Joking about his ideal romance, the 24-year-old hunk thinks an open relationship is great as you can have the benefits of companionship and enjoy the single life at the same time.
He added to Now magazine: "In series two [of 'Made in Chelsea'], Louise and I actually agreed to have some form of open relationship. Now that's the kind of romance I like!"
