Sophie Turner at Game of Thrones premiere

Sophie Turner is worried that her Game of Thrones character will eventually be killed off.

Playing Sansa Stark, the 18 year old admits it's a gamble when she reads the show scripts because popular characters could face the chop at any time.

Sansa's family has been rocked by numerous tragedies over the last three seasons, with her father Ned Stark (Sean Bean), mother Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) and brother Robb (Richard Madden) all being slaughtered and murdered in various tragic scenes.

Speaking at the Game of Thrones Season 4 UK premiere at London's Guildhall last night, Sophie said: "I worry about every character, but I do worry about my own. It's the ambiguity of it all that makes the show so exciting. It's definitely a worry when you get the script - you're like, 'Please don't say I die!' Fingers crossed I don't."

Meanwhile, Liam Cunningham who portrays Davos Seaworth also discussed how you can never plan ahead for your role in the series.

He explained: "It could be awful. You can't plan ahead, but that's what's great about the show - you invest in these characters and they're suddenly whipped away from you. All you have to do is go on YouTube and see how much the audience is invested in these characters, and then they're whipped away. That's life, isn't it?"

'Game of Thrones' Season 4 begins Monday April 7, airing at 2am and 9pm.
