Launching on the newly branded W channel later this month, Sophie Ellis-Bextor's show on fame and social media will explore the many facets of celebrity and connection to the fans.
For a week, the performer took part in an experiment that saw her post on social media every time Kim Kardashian did, which forced her to get to grips with numerous selfies.
"I'd always kept social media at arm's length," she explains. "I worry that you put something up there, it's there for good. Maybe some of my views are a little old fashioned."
She continues: "I'd always been wary of sharing too much of my life online but as part of my look at modern celebrity I agreed to submerge myself in Kim Kardashian's social media for one week and do everything she does."
This comes after Sophie helped launch the channel, releasing hundreds of balloons in London which will give those who find them once they land the chance to win one of five diamonds up to the value of £1,000.
Sophie said at the time: "I'm delighted to be a part of the launch of new entertainment channel, W. I wish everyone the best of luck with the Diamond Dash competition."
Those who find a card should tweet an image of it to @LiveOnW, follow the account and include the hashtag #WDiamondDash to be in with a chance of winning.
The competition is open until midnight on February 18, and the channel, W, has launched now, available on Sky 109/245, Virgin 124/191, BT and TalkTalk 407.
