Snoochie Shy could only manage to eat six chips for her first meal after she left the 'I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!' castle.
The Radio 1Xtra DJ couldn’t chow down as much grub as she thought she might be able to after she became the latest campmate - after Paralympian Kadeena Cox and former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Dame Arlene Phillips - to be voted off the ITV reality show on Tuesday night (07.12.21).
The 29-year-old star - whose real name is Cheyenne Davide - said: "It feels really strange. I got home, I’ve had six chips so far. I thought when I was in the castle, I was going to eat loads, but I’ve just had six chips, but I’m feeling good.”
But Snoochie admitted she “enjoyed” the exotic eating challenge she was put through while in Gwrych Castle.
She said: “I really enjoyed the eating trial. I know this is crazy, but I literally loved it.
"That’s what I wanted to do the most. I feel like I’ve grown up watching the show, and the eating trial is one of the ones you see quite a lot.
"I was like, ‘I need to do that’, but I definitely ate some wild stuff.
"I think I had a cow’s bum, but it just tastes like normal meat, just a little bit cold. I’d say the fermented duck egg, I’m never going to revisit that or the vomit fruit, it does definitely make you feel a bit queasy after.
"I couldn’t eat after. I was just in the privy.”
Snoochie also described the “challenge” of baring her birthmark, as she couldn’t get any “secret foundation” to cover it up.
Speaking on 'Lorraine', she added: “It’s always been a part of me and growing up I was feeling a little bit insecure about it just because of past experiences, so this was like a challenge for me because it was the first time people had seen my birthmark, obviously only my friends and family really knew.
“I was like, ‘Do you know what, if I’m going to go into the castle, I’m going to take it head on.' You can’t get any makeup anyway, it’s not like I can get some secret foundation.
"I feel much better for it as well. I’m actually really happy that I did that. That was a really big journey for me in the castle. I’m feeling better for it.”
