Sir Lenny Henry and Mortem Harket have been unmasked on 'The Masked Singer'.
The 62-year-old comedian and the lead singer of pop group A-Ha were revealed to be behind the Blob and Viking costumes in a double elimination on Saturday night's (30.01.21) show.
Lenny said: "It's a huge career arc. I've been in lockdown since March so when they called to say come and do this, I was like, 'Yes ok! I'm coming!'
"So to be here with people and them be so lovely. To look at the panel and to see you guys, it's been a joy to be here. Thank you for letting me here."
And Lenny was flattered when panellist Alan Carr guessed he could be Morgan Freeman.
He added: "Thank you Alan for being so generous with the Morgan Freeman guess. I think when I discovered you could turn around [in the costume], it was a breakthrough for me."
Meanwhile, Viking - who was in the bottom three with Blob and Dragon - was revealed to be the 'Take On Me' singer, who even sang his own track during the competition.
Asked why he did the show, he told host Joel Dommett: "I did it because I wanted to be kicked out of my comfort zone. I am used to performing but I have never done anything like this."
John Thomson was unveiled as Bush Baby whilst Seahorse was revealed to be Mel B. Glenn Hoddle was the Grandfather Clock and Martine McCutcheon was unmasked as Swan. Sophie Ellis Bextor was booted out of the competition first, leaving her Alien alias to be revealed.
'The Masked Singer' returns next Saturday (06.02.20) for the semi-final.
