Sir Mo Farah and AJ Pritchard have both exited ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The Olympic star and the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional became the next two people to leave the ITV reality show on Wednesday (02.12.20), after they received the fewest votes from the public.
Speaking about his time in the castle, Mo said: “I’ve definitely missed Amani, Aisha, Hussein, Rhianna, and my wife Tania. Part of me was like, ‘Can I challenge myself?’ I’ve watched this show over the years and all I ever wanted to do was go in and challenge myself.
“I tried my best, and I enjoyed myself really. I was amongst amazing people and that made it easier because we were just having a laugh and challenging ourselves. It’s been an amazing journey, and I wouldn’t change one thing.”
And of his own experience, AJ added: “Walking into the castle, and especially meeting everybody, you don’t know what to expect. You watch a show as a super fan for so many years … It’s been so much better. Even the trials! You don’t know how you’re going to react when you’re thrown into it but yeah. Loved it.”
Mo and AJ narrowly missed out on being part of the final four ahead of Friday’s (04.12.20) final, with Giovanna Fletcher, Shane Richie, Vernon Kay, and Jordan North now heading into the final two days in camp.
And when asked by hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelley which of their campmates they’d like to see crowned the very first King or Queen of the Castle, both Mo and AJ named Giovanna.
AJ said: “They’re all great people, but Gi. I’m backing Gi.
“She’s just so positive and does so much for people. Behind the scenes, you never know if its shown, but definitely she’s supported so many people.”
And Mo added: “She’s so wonderful and helpful. I love Shane too, and Vernon, and Jordan, but Gi.”
