Simon Gregson has vowed to live a "healthier life" after thinking he was "dying" during a trial on 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.'
The 47-year-old actor - who is a finalist on the ITV show along with 'Emmerdale' actor Danny Miller, 30, and 'Loose Women' star Frankie Bridge, 32 following the elimination of David Ginola - admitted how unfit he felt after taking part in the infamous Celebrity Cyclone trial.
He said: "It was horrific for me. I am ridiculously unfit. At one point I thought I was dying. I’m not built for speed, I’m built for comfort."
The challenge saw the stars battle it out against strong winds, flying objects and huge rushes of water whilst running up a slope, all in an attempt to win stars for food, but it left Simon - who has played Steve McDonald in ‘Coronation Street' for over 30 years - wanting to try a health kick.
Speaking in the Telegraph, Simon added: "As we were eating our meal, we had a little discussion about what our highs and lows were, and what experiences we would take from the castle. What will I take from the experience? I think I am probably going to try and live, and I ain't saying I will succeed, but I am gonna try and live a healthier life. You don’t need to have a pile of food like this on a plate, just enough will do."
When discussing his health concerns, with his fellow campmates, as Frankie asked: "Really?" he replied: "Yeah, because doing that cyclone I was like wow, I should not feel like this."
