Shirley Ballas will miss Bruno Tonioli's "wafting arms" on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 64-year-old choreographer is absent from this year's show due to coronavirus travel restrictions and his fellow judge has admitted he'll be a big miss during the series.
She shared: "First of all, I’ve known Bruno over 13, 14 years now and he is the most spectacular human being you can ever come across. And everything that comes out of his mouth on my left is always sincere, genuine and from a good place."
Shirley will miss Bruno's expressive personality, although she joked that social distancing measures would have changed their on-set dynamic.
The show's head judge told RadioTimes.com: "I’m going to miss his wafting arms – although with social distancing, he would have had to have exceptionally long arms. But he will be missed, for sure."
Shirley also admitted to being unsure about how Bruno's absence will change the judging dynamic.
She said: "All I know is we have the most magnificent Craig [Revel Horwood] on the end, you know, and we’ve got this bright bubble in the middle [Motsi Mabuse] and then we bounce off each other all three of us, so I’m not worried about it."
Bruno is currently judging on 'Dancing with the Stars' in the US and, due to travel restrictions, he cannot make frequent trips across the Atlantic.
But Shirley is already looking forward to his return to the BBC show.
She explained: "It will be nice to have Bruno back whenever he can make it and I know he will be sorely missed, but I know that three judges will belly up to the bar and they will give it all they’ve got to keep the enthusiasm alive."
