The pair of acting stars were spotted at two red carpet events this week - a press screening of Sky Max Christmas film 'Hansel and Gretel: After Ever After' at the Curzon cinema in London’s Mayfair on Thursday (04.11.21), less than 24 hours after being spotted at the 'Pride & Prejudice' press night at the Criterion Theatre in London on Wednesday night (03.11.21).
In September, Sheridan posted a snap of herself alongside old flame Alex on Instagram, complete with the caption: "So pleased this fitty I dated back in the day (20 years ago) is back in my life! Life works in mysterious ways...miss u Mr L"(sic)
'Cilla' star Sheridan parted ways with her long-term partner Jamie Horn, 31, earlier this year.
Sheridan and the insurance broker met on Tinder back in 2018, were engaged to be married and even welcomed son Billy in May 2020 - but the pair called it quits in July 2021.
In a joint statement, they said: "It is with great sadness that we have decided to have some time apart. We both remain completely committed to raising our beautiful boy Billy together. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you."
The actress - who was made an OBE in 2015 for her services to drama - has previously been romantically linked to a host of other famous faces, including 'Hollyoaks' star Greg Wood, who portrayed Trevor Royle in the Channel 4 soap.
