Shelley King would love to land a role as a James Bond villain.
The 'Coronation Street' actress is keen to suggest to Bond producer Barbara Broccoli that she would be perfect as a character who goes up against the suave spy - who is currently played by Daniel Craig - and believes she would have "great fun" working on such a movie.
She said: "I’d love to play a Bond villain - that would be great fun.
"I’ll put that out there to Barbara Broccoli!"
As well as trying to destroy 007, the 65-year-old actress - who plays Yasmeen Metcalfe in the ITV soap - would love to own a classic Mercedes Roadster 300 SL car, and joked if she landed a role in a Bond movie it would help her with the hefty seven-figure price tag.
She said: "I love cars. If I could have the car of my dreams, it would be a Mercedes Roadster 300 SL, a 1950s or 60s model.
"I think they’re going for about three-and-a-half million.
"I could have a couple of months off 'Corrie', play my Bond villain, and then come back and buy the car."
Another dream Shelly has is for more comedy for her character Yasmeen Metcalfe, who has been through an horrific time at the hands of her abuser husband Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew).
She added to TV Times magazine: "I would love to see another side of Yasmeen if that were possible.
"If I could choose, I would love some more comedy. I had the huge privilege of working with Eileen Derbyshire [Emily Bishop] soon after I joined 'Corrie', when there was the library lockdown story, and that was a joyful time.
"Yasmeen has been locked away for too long, so let's see that bombastic character that she was.
"But we mustn't forget what she has been through."
