Sharon Osbourne claims she is "tone deaf" - despite spending years as an 'X Factor' judge and music manager.
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star, 71, was a panellist on several series of the ITV talent show from 2004 to 2017, and 'America's Got Talent' from 2007 to 2012, and she has also managed her husband Ozzy Osbourne's music career, as well as bands Motorhead and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Despite this, Sharon claims she has difficulty perceiving differences of musical pitch accurately.
She said on 'The Osbournes Podcast': "My thing is, I'm tone deaf."
But Ozzy, 75, disagreed, saying: "How can you be tone deaf if you know what a good artist is and what a bad artist is?"
Sharon replied: "That's totally different."
When asked by the Paranoid hitmaker who had the better voice out of Whitney Houston or Celine Dion, Sharon said: "Both have got brilliant voices. Both of them had huge range."
Ozzy also questioned how Sharon could be tone deaf when she sounded "perfectly in tune" on recently-rediscovered song You Can Strike Oil In Hollywood, which was recorded by her group The Sheikettes in 1978.
He said: "How did you pull that off, Sharon? You say you're tone deaf, but that sounded perfectly in tune to me."
Sharon replied: "A good producer. That was in the bloody 70s. We were all really drunk."
Ozzy added: "No, no, no, you're bulls****ing now. That doesn't sound like someone who was drunk.
"I can't get my head around that. The way she sings now, she sounds like a dying moose. What happened?"
