Sharon Osbourne was left in floods of tears following Rough Copy's X Factor elimination.
The feisty judge decided to send the decision to deadlock when she couldn't choose between the fun-loving group and student Luke Friend during Sunday night's (08.12.13) results show, but reportedly fled to her dressing room in tears when it emerged Rough Copy would be leaving the ITV competition.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Sharon was a mess - she didn't do 'The Xtra Factor' afterwards and went to her dressing room in tears. She hated the fact she had to make the final decision on who went through.
"She knows Rough Copy would have given the final something exciting. She just decided to shut herself in her dressing room after the show and wouldn't see anyone.
"She was so upset, she ended up leaving without seeing the other judges and they didn't go on their usual Sunday night club outing."
Sharon was also said to be feeling guilty she didn't back her pal Gary Barlow by opting to save his last remaining act.
Luke will be joined by warbling prison warden Sam Bailey and Scottish schoolboy Nicholas McDonald in the final three, which fans are predicting could be one of the dullest live finals in the show's history.
Rough Copy agree the fun-factor will be lacking this weekend, especially since they were planning to pull out all the stops with a series of energetic performances.
The boys lamented: "We would have brought madness and energy. We planned to fly from the ceiling and rollerskate on stage.
"The performances were going to be amazing - dance routines, energy, everything to show everyone this is a stage to be performed on."
