Sharon Osbourne will quit showbiz after 'The X Factor' to become a full-time grandmother.
The 60-year-old star reportedly wants to focus on her family and she has her mind set on retirement so she can spend more time with her 16-month-old granddaughter Pearl.
An insider told the Sunday People newspaper: "She is ready to retire, give up the showbiz wold and lead a quiet life.
"She is relishing the idea that she will be able to spend all the time in the world with her little granddaughter Pearl."
It is also said Sharon wants to help her son Jack after his wife Lisa Stelley - who is the mother of his daughter Pearl - suffered a miscarriage earlier this month and she is also keen to reduce the strain on her own marriage.
The source added: "Sharon was devastated about the loss of Jack and Lisa's baby.
"She and Ozzy have had a tough year and realise how working in different countries has put a strain on their marriage."
The couple are planning to buy a new home once the hard rock icon finishes his farewell tour with Black Sabbath later this year.
