Shane Richie's son has asked ITV if they are "editing to cause tension" between his dad and AJ Pritchard on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

Shane Nolan took to Twitter to respond to a comment made by the show's official social media account, which asked fans if they think "tension" between the campmates "is going to escalate" after the ex-'Strictly Come Dancing' pro looked less than impressed on last night's (26.11.20) show when the former 'EastEnders' star jokingly chucked his dirty tin on the floor - after AJ had taken over washing up duties.

But Shane Jr hit back: "I know it’s a tv show but ur playing with peoples lives man. If their really is tension then I’m all for it. Or are you editing to cause tension ? That’s what I can’t agree with. I know it’s telly but theirs vile comments being thrown around and it’s not fair (sic)"

It comes after the Alfie Moon actor was previously tasked with washing up the camp meal tins, but AJ claimed he hadn't done a great job earlier this week and re-washed them.

However, AJ's girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has since admitted he "has got OCD" when it comes to cleaning, and regularly re-cleans their flat after she has gone over it.

She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "You know what it is, it's that AJ has got OCD - he's constantly cleaning the flat.

"If I do something he normally re-does it.

"He loves to take care of people and he would want the clean dishes for the camp, and for the camp to be perfect for everyone.

"I do think he will keep his calm, but I think if someone really annoys him he is not afraid to say what he thinks."

What's more, on Wednesday night's (25.11.20) show AJ joked he would rather have rice and beans and go to bed than wait for the camp's pheasant to cook - and Abbie has admitted the pro dancer does have a tendency to get "hangry" if he goes without food for too long.

She added: "I think AJ is going to be struggling, he eats so much. I think he's going to be so hangry in there - I don't even like to be around him when he's hangry.

"And they've got to put up with him 24/7."
