Selasi Gbormittah has been booted off 'The Great British Bake Off'.
The baking hopeful was kicked out of the semi-final of the BBC One baking show after failing to impress in patisserie week.
Speaking after his exit, he said: "It's a massively great achievement personally for me and my family for getting to the semi-finals. It's been absolutely amazing and splendid. I loved it all."
And Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood were equally disappointed to see Selasi go.
Mary shared: "No one's more sad than me to say goodbye to Selasi. What a character, what a baker."
Whilst Paul added: "I'm very proud of Selasi. I think he's a great baker. And he'll carry on doing it."
Selasi failed to wow Mary and Paul with his 24 palmiers and his savarin in the technical challenge and whilst he delivered some well-flavoured fondants for the showstopper, it wasn't enough to save him.
Jane Beedle managed to secure her place in the final by the skin of her teeth and she was no doubt relieved to reach the last stage of the competition.
She said: "I don't have words. I really don't. I could cry. I've been close to crying all day."
Elsewhere, Andrew Smyth secured the star baker award and he admitted he wasn't expecting to triumph in such a tense week.
He shared: "It's absolutely incredible to be in the final and to get star baker as well. I wasn't expecting that."
Andrew will be joined by Jane and Candice Brown in the final, which will air on BBC One on Wednesday October 26.
