Following the announcement that Kristin Chenoweth would be playing Easter in the Starz television adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel American Gods comes this first look image straight from Bryan Fuller, who works on bringing the book to the small screen.

Providing a glimpse of the Old Gods character, Easter is shown decked out in a fancy floral Easter bonnet, with a smile painted on her face.
The character will play an integral part of the American Gods story when it comes to TV, despite Easter being one of the Old Gods who doesn't really care to fight New Gods to further her own cause.
Upon its debut, the series will follow the story of Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) after his release from prison. Drawn into a world he knows little about but can't help being mesmerised by, he meets Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) and instantly picks up a job with the charismatic man.
Other big names in the show include Gillian Anderson, Orlando Jones and Bruce Langley.
American Gods will premiere in 2017 on Starz in the US and on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
