Seann Walsh is the seventh contestant to be ejected from ‘I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!’
The stand-up comic’s elimination on Friday night’s episode (25.11.22) follows DJ Chris Moyles’ exit on Thursday and Babatunde Aleshe’s the previous night.
Hosts Ant and Dec announced Seann was out after the public voted to keep Owen Warner after the pair ended up in the bottom two.
Seann’s exit leaves Owen along with Conservative MP Matt Hancock, ex-England footballer Jill Scott and former rugby player Mike Tindall in the final four.
The comic told Ant and Dec after it was revealed his time in the jungle was over: “So many memories. So many amazing memories. I loved it. It is tough, and I don’t know how that comes across on screen.
“As soon as you said my name, all of the tough bit just goes, and now I’m left with absolutely incredible memories. I’m gonna need a long time to process.”
Jill and Owen are leading the way as bookies’ favourites to take the jungle crown.
Seann’s eviction came after Matt and Mike earned four stars in Friday night’s Bushtucker Trial.
Also out of the show are Culture Club singer Boy George, who left on Tuesday, with ‘Coronation Street’ actress Sue Cleaver, broadcaster Charlene White and ‘A Place in the Sun’ presenter Scarlette Douglas also sent home.
In his post-elimination interview, Chris told Ant and Dec he was “gutted” he was “less popular than Matt Hancock”.
The penultimate episode of ‘I’m A Celebrity’ is on tomorrow night (26.11.22) at 9.15pm on ITV1 and is available on ITV Hub, Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
